Arike Ogunbowale
Arike Ogunbowale is an NBA player in the Dallas Wings, a team that is part of the Women's National Basketball Association. She was part of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college before she was drafted as the 5th overall pick by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale's father and mother Yolanda Ogunbowale & Gregory Ogunbowale were born March 2nd, 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are her siblings. Ogunbowale was crowned gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships as well as the 2014 FIBA U17 world Championships as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships. In July 2014, she was selected to join the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was playing her first season at a collegiate level and was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team.
